There were two aspects of research involved. First, in order to create a design that captured the story of Don Quijote properly, it was pertinent to gather an understanding the story of Don Quijote and other aspects of Spanish culture. Second, we researched the process of creating a custom deck of playing cards, in order to make the transition from designing to producing smooth and efficient.
